I tend to think of the body in terms of its natural movement and flow. When our body is less inhibited by physical and emotional blocks it becomes a clearer vessel for who we really are. We feel freer, and we can express something closer to our true being. When I am doing bodywork I sense into what is here with this individual right now and I respond uniquely to each unique situation.

As I follow a tension pattern to its root the work can become very specific; but it is always my intention to integrate this specificity with broader more general work so the whole body can benefit from the change.

I am also interested in doing the "detective work" of looking at how tension patterns are perpetuated; looking at the way people walk, their shoes, how they are sitting at work, or in their car, or how they exercise.
